Original 1st printing 13&3/4 x 20&7/8" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service, Santana, It's A Beautiful Day and Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks in a legal-aid benefit for the Grateful Dead (to assist the band's legal costs from their infamous January 1970 bust in New Orleans), held at Winterland in San Francisco, CA on 2/23/1970.
Art by Randy Tuten, image is # 222 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a hard 1" diagonal bend in the lower left corner, along with a tiny water droplet stain and a thin 1" crease in the lower right corner and a couple of well-camouflaged handling creases hiding within the lower right corner of the image area (around "Hot" and above the "l" of "Winterland") and a stray fingerprint smudge or two here and there, otherwise fine.
GREAT-LOOKING example of one of the harder-to-find images in the BG numbered series.
