Original 1st printing 14&1/8 x 17&3/4" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with Lee Michaels and the Oxford Circle at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 12/9-10/1966.

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there are tack holes (all four corners and just to the left of "tickets"), along with a 3-4" diagonal bend in the upper left corner, tape shadows in the top two corners, a couple of stray edge/corner-tip dings, a few tiny pin-prick surface sots hiding within the image area, a few soft stains in the lower right margin, light paper toning and a few light handling dings, otherwise it is a very presentable 1st printing example of this perennially popular Family Dog image.
