Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for early rock & roll pioneer Bo Diddley appearing with Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 8/12-13/1966.
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image ("Earthquake") is # 21 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. (*light blue stock)
Thin flat stock flyer is in good (B) condition; there are a series of tiny pin-prick age spots scattered throughout the image area, along with a couple of very light surface pulls in all four corners (tape removal), a few light creases and a tiny nip tear or two lurking around the outer margins, a small 1/2" sliver out of the lower right margin/edge, a few tiny handing dings and stress creases here and there and a nearly-invisible soft horizontal crease going through the center of the image, otherwise fine.
A very decent-looking example of this early Mouse/Kelley-designed Avalon Ballroom flyer.
