Description
Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for early rock & roll pioneer Bo Diddley appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 7/28-30/1966.
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image is # 18 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
Thin flat stock flyer is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there are very light surface pulls in all four corners (tape removal), along with a 1/4" tear in the upper right margin, a couple of tiny edge/corner-tip nip tears, a few light handling creases and a soft thin bend or two hiding within the image area, otherwise fine.
A very nice-looking gently used example of this early Mouse/Kelley-designed Avalon Ballroom flyer.
