Pair of original 1st printing 24&3/8 x 12&1/4" untrimmed printer's proof album slicks (outer cover and gatefold interior) for "Unicorn", the third album (released in May of 1969) by Tyrannosaurus Rex (featuring Marc Bolan, just a couple of years before they shortened it to "T. Rex" and went glam) on Blue Thumb Records.

 Photos by Pete Sanders, medium-thin glossy-coated vellum stock slicks are in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; both have a moderate curl to the paper from being rolled, along with light handling wear, a tiny stress crease or two hiding within the image area(s) and small bits of clear tape on the reverse side (consignor had them on his wall in the late-'60's), otherwise fine; as an added bonus, the original 1969 Blue Thumb Records mailing tube will be included with the lot.
