Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 16&3/4" (top/bottom margins unevenly trimmed by approximately 1") concert/event poster for a "Psychedelic Fashion Show", sponsored by Mill Valley mod boutique The Mod Hatter, featuring performances by Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service, the Only Alternative and His Other Possibilities and Mimi Farina and held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 8/17/1966.
 
 Artist unknown, image is not a numbered Bill Graham/Fillmore image (this show falls between the BG #23 and BG #24 shows), but it is featured in the Art of Rock on page 155 (plate 2.84) and likely had some BGP involvement.
 
 Thick flat vellum "construction paper" stock poster is in used (B-/C+) condition; aside from the aforementioned edge trimming, there is an approximately 2" chunk of paper missing from the lower left corner, tiny wedge tears in the upper left/lower right corners, creasing/wear along the upper right margin and a couple of thin stress bends hiding within the image area... definitely a well-traveled specimen.
 
 While the condition is obviously an issue, it's still a fairly scarce early non-numbered Fillmore poster with a REALLY interesting back story involving Owsley Stanley, the Grateful Dead and a new P.A. system for the Fillmore- read about it HERE:
