Original 1st printing 6&1/4 x 9&1/4" double-sided concert handbill for Jethro Tull appearing with the MC5 at Eagles Auditorium in Seattle, WA on 3/7-8/1969, along with upcoming ads for The Paul Butterfield Blues Band with Pulse (3/15), Ten Years After with the Don Ellis Orchestra (3/22), Creedence Clearwater Revival (3/28 at Seattle Exhibition Hall) and Deep Purple/John Mayall/Jeff Beck (4/3 at Seattle Center Arena) on the reverse side.
Art by John Moehring, the image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 288 (plate 3.106).
Medium-thick textured glossy-coated index stock handbill is in decent (B/B-) condition; there are tack holes in all four corners and several clustered in the top/bottom center margins, along with a series of semi-camouflaged handling creases/thin bends with tiny ink cracks scattered within the image area, a bit of minor color fading/toning (mostly to the yellow pass of ink), a few small pin-prick indentations along the left margin and a moderate degree of toning on the reverse side, otherwise OK.
A well-worn, but somewhat hard-to-find Eagles Auditorium concert artifact from the AOR book.
