Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" monochrome (green ink on PINK stock) concert/event flyer for the Grateful Dead appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service, Stokely Carmichael and the Staff, Johnny Talbot and De Thangs, the James Cotton Blues Band, Jon Hendricks and John Hardy (Handy) in a benefit (a fundraiser for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee), held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 11/20/1966.
Art by Christian (Bob) Collins (not credited), image (full color poster) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 150 (plate 2.70).
Thin flat stock flyer is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a trace of light handling wear, a few tiny edge creases and a VERY thin horizontal press indentation along the upper margin area, it is a FANTASTIC example of this somewhat hard-to-find color variant of the November 1966 SNCC Fillmore benefit flyer. First one of these I've had!
