Original 1st printing 22 x 36" silkscreen event merchandising poster for Janis Joplin appearing at the 1st Atlanta International Pop Festival, held at Atlanta International Raceway from 7/3-4/1969.

 Designer unknown/not credited (image taken from a photo by Bob Seidemann), medium-thick flat vellum stock silkscreen poster (printed with florescent/day-glo ink) stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are tack holes in all four corner tips, along with a trace of edge toning with a few stray pin-prick age spots scattered around the outer margins, a thin horizontal/diagonal bend along the upper right margin, a couple of tiny edge tears along the bottom margin, a whisper of handling/surface wear and a set of tape pulls with a bit of age spotting on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 ULTRA-COOL LOOKING 1969 Janis Joplin poster from the 1969 Atlanta Pop Festival, this is one of a series of four different merchandising posters featuring the Festival headliners (others in the series are for Led Zeppelin, Johnny Winter and Canned Heat) that were sold at the festival.
