Original 1st printing (black ink/white stock, OP-1 in the Eric King guide) 14 x 24&1/2" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and Muddy Waters appearing together at the Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland in San Francisco, CA from 9/23-25 and from 9/30-10/2/1966. (*Winterland shows were canceled/moved back to the Fillmore)
 
 Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Wes Wilson, image ("The Sound") is # 29 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
 
 Medium flat index stock poster is in near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; aside from a tiny pinch crease in the lower right margin and a well-camouflaged handling ding or two lurking within the image area, it is a nearly-perfect ARTIST-SIGNED 1st printing example of this classic Wes Wilson-designed poster from Bill Graham's first extended-engagement (2 weeks of shows) bookings. Had it not been for a bit of unplanned civil unrest in the neighborhood that week, these would have been the first BG Winterland shows.
