Description

Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" double-sided concert/event flyer for the (1st Annual) Seattle Pop Festival, held at Gold Creek park in Woodinville, WA from 7/25-27/1969.

 Designer unknown/not credited, flyer lists appearances by Crome Syrcus, Bo Diddley, the Flying Burrito Brothers (with Gram Parsons), Ten Years After, the Guess Who, Murray Roman, Santana, the Youngbloods, Tim Buckley, It's A Beautiful Day, the Byrds, Floating Bridge, Charles Lloyd, Albert Collins, the Flock, Ike & Tina Turner, Bo Diddley, Lonnie Mack, Chicago (Transit Authority), Chuck Berry, Blacksnake, Spirit, Vanilla Fudge, Lee Michaels, Led Zeppelin and the Doors.

 Thin flat stock flyer is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there is a bit of minor edge toning, along with a couple of soft thin vertical roll bends along the left/right margins, a few tiny edge dings scattered around the outer margin area, a hint of handling wear and a bit of light toning with a few tiny pin-prick spots on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 Neat little original 1969 festival artifact with a STACKED lineup. Here's a real nice-sounding soundboard recording of the Flying Burrito Brothers set;
