Description
Original 1st printing 13&3/4 x 23" concert poster for the Charlatans appearing with Frumious Bandersnatch and Triple AAA (Anonymous Artists of America) at the Western Front in San Francisco, CA from 10/27-28/1967.
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 191 (plate 2.200). *This image was printed in two colors- this version and another more common version on tan/buff stock. It is sometimes referred to as "Fat F*ck" due to the tiny hidden profanity in the photo.
Thick flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; just a few light creases scattered along the upper margin area, a tiny edge tear in the top right margin, a tiny silver ink spot in the left center border of the image area, a couple of minor corner-tip bends and a pair of light press roller marks in the right center margin, otherwise fine.
