Original 1st United States edition (printed in March/April of 1969 by Darien House of New York, it is the 2nd "official" printing) 23 x 33" European "kiosk"-style concert poster for the Jimi Hendrix Experience appearing at the Beethovenshalle in Stuttgart, (West) Germany on 1/15/1969* (the Stuttgart show was actually on the 19th, the 1/15 date was made up specifically for this edition of the poster).

 Design by Gunther Kieser, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 311 (plate 3.185).

 Medium-thin semi-gloss stock poster is in used (B-) condition; there is a 1&1/2" diagonal chunk out of the lower right corner, along with a series of decent-sized edge tears and pronounced creases/bends going all around the outer margin area, a moderate amount of handling wear with numerous stress creases, fossilized tape remnants/pulls on the reverse... definitely more of an artifact than a collectible, this example has certainly seen better days- however, it is not without a certain amount of charm; perfect for an entry-level collector or someone who just loves the image.
