Description
Original 1st printing 6&1/4 x 8" blank-reverse concert/event handbill for the Cosmic Car Show, a multi-act concert and car show featuring Charley Musselwhite and the South Side Sound System, Mount Rushmore, Mother Earth (featuring Tracy Nelson), Second Coming, Anonymous Artists of America, Melvyn Q. (Watchpocket) and Pyewacket, held in Muir Beach, CA on 9/2/1967.
Art by Stanley Mouse, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 221 (plate 2.298).
Medium-thin flat vellum stock handbill is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a soft 3/4" diagonal bend and tiny pressure crease/bump in the lower right corner, it is a GORGEOUS example of this neat little original 1967 Mouse-designed handbill from a small local Marin County hippie car show/concert.
