Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert/event flyer for the first Bullfrog Lake Music Festival, held near Estacada (Clackamas County), OR from 7/4-6/1969.
Designer unknown, poster lists appearances by Jefferson Airplane, Jugerknot, Jimy Holden Trio, Portland Zoo and more (also appeared- (not listed) Sons of Champlin, Ace of Cups and more).
Medium flat stock flyer is in near mint (A-) condition; I can't really see anything wrong with it, but for safety's sake there may be a tiny handling ding or two hiding within the image area... tough to say, it's pretty darn clean.
Very neat oddball little PNW festival piece from a somewhat obscure mostly-local festival, allegedly held at-of all places- a trailer park. We also have a BAND-SIGNED poster for this event listed separately. According to the account over at the Rock Prosopogrophy blog;
"This was a 3-day festival held outside Oregon City (about 20 miles south of Portland) on private land at Bullfrog Lake Trailer Park. Charlie Kelly (Sons of Champlin road manager) recalls that Grace Slick dressed in a Girl Scout uniform, and the Airplane started their show with three quick fireworks blasts and hit the downbeat on the four, electrifying the crowd."
