Original 1st printing 14 x 20" event poster for a performance of (beat poet) Michael McClure's one-act play, "The Beard", held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 7/24/1966.

Art by (and SIGNED in silver ink by) Wes Wilson, image is # 19 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series (one of only a few images in the series that was not reprinted).

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are pin/staple holes in all four corners with a tiny surface pull in the lower right corner tip, a small puncture hole in the second "t" of "Theatre", a subtle touch of toning/fading, a tiny pressure crease in the upper right margin, a whisper of handling wear and a set of tape pulls on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 VERY nice-looking ARTIST-SIGNED example of one of the only early Fillmore posters that wasn't reprinted.
