Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Moby Grape and the Steve Miller Blues Band at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 12/23-24/1966.
Art by Victor Moscoso, image is # 40 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good (B) condition; there are tack holes in all four corners, along with a light to moderate degree of toning, a couple of light surface pulls and a couple of tiny diagonal bends in the lower left/right corners, a bit of minor creasing along the right margin, a few tiny stress bends scattered along the top margin, a couple of light handling dings and a stray pin-prick surface spot or two lurking within the image area and a "Lorin Gillette Distributor" rubber-stamp on the reverse side, otherwise fine.
GREAT-looking gently-used 1st printing example of Victor Moscoso's first-ever Grateful Dead image.
