Original 1st printing 14 x 21&1/2" concert poster for the Jimi Hendrix Experience appearing with Albert King and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers at the Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland in San Francisco, CA from 2/1-4/1968.
Art by Rick Griffin, image ("Flying Eyeball") is # 105 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series (BG 105-OP-1 in the Eric King guide).
Medium flat index stock poster is in used (B-) condition; there are multiple tack/staple holes in all four corners, along with a small triangular wedge of paper missing from the lower left margin (Tea Lautrec credit) that has been patched-in with a small piece of red paper, a moderate amount of creasing/handling wear, a bit of relatively minor toning/fading to the paper, a series of tiny white pin-prick spots, drip stains and scuffs (moisture wear) throughout the piece, a small dot of white paint in the center of the eyeball, large tape pulls/clear tape remnants on the reverse... the photo should show pretty clearly what's going on with this one.
Definitely a well-worn survivor, but it's all there and if you're not looking to lay out a small fortune for a 1st printing BG 105, here's your candidate.
