Original 1st printing 14&1/8 x 20" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin)* appearing with the Merry Pranksters in a party/event sponsored by the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, held at Sokol Hall in San Francisco, CA on 11/12/1966.
 
 Art by Allen "Gut" Terk, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 207 (plate 2.247). 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in decent/used (B/B-) condition; there is a fairly large 4&1/4" horizontal tear extending from the upper left margin through the bottom of the "He" of "Hells" (sealed on the reverse with clear tape), along with a couple of smaller tears and a series of edge creases/bends scattered around the outer margin area, a moderate to heavy amount of handling wear/creasing and a bit of surface scuffing throughout the image area... definitely on the used side, but the colors are still strong and the paper is still quite bright; it could use some restoration, but to be honest it looks pretty cool as it is- just like a VERY well-worn set of HAMC colors.
