Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin)* appearing with Blue Cheer in a legal-aid benefit for the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, held at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 2/3/1967.
 
 Art by Allen "Gut" Terk, image ("It's Party Time Again!") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 207 (plate 2.248). 

Medium flat vellum stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there is a small 1/2" sliver out of the bottom left corner tip, along with a bit of wear/creasing around the outer margin area, a touch of toning, a few light handling creases, light smudges and pin-prick spots here and there, a few thin stress bends hiding within the image area, a tiny nip tear in the right center margin and couple of brown tape marks with a bit of writing on the reverse ("Property of Mary Russo" and a couple of phone numbers), otherwise fine.

 Very nice-looking gently-used example of this popular Hells Angels/Big Brother poster from an early-'67 benefit.
