Original 1st printing 14 x 20" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service and the Gladstones at Monterey (CA) Fairgrounds Dance Hall from 7/2-3/1966.

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; there are a couple of tiny pin-prick surface spots in the lower right margin and just above "groups", along with a few nearly-invisible handling dings here and there, but that's pretty much all there is to speak of... a GORGEOUS example of this early Big Brother/QMS concert poster from Monterey; Janis Joplin had only been with the band for a few weeks by the time of this gig.
