Original 1st printing 14 x 20" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with Kaleidoscope (featuring David Lindley) and Charley Musselwhite at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 1/12-14/1968.
Art by Rick Griffin, image ("Eternal Reservoir") is # 101 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
Medium flat index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there is a small 3/4" diagonal tear and a couple of tiny nips in the upper right corner (sealed on the reverse with a tiny piece of clear tape), along with a couple of tiny pin-prick indentation spots along the upper margin, a tiny smudge in the lower right corner, a well-camouflaged fingerprint smudge/handling ding or two hiding within the image area and half of the reverse side of the poster is evenly toned, otherwise fine- from a presentation standpoint, the poster still looks pretty sharp overall.
A very presentable 1st printing example of this ever-popular Rick Griffin image from the Avalon.
