Original 1st printing 6&1/2 x 11" schedule-style concert flyer/large handbill for Pinnacle Productions' May, 1968 series of concerts held at the Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles, CA.
Acts/bands listed include: Big Brother and the Holding Company (with Janis Joplin appearing with Albert King and Pacific, Gas & Electric (5/3-4), the Grateful Dead appearing with the Steve Miller Band and Taj Mahal (5/17-18), the Velvet Underground appearing with the Chambers Brothers and Dr. John (5/24-25) and the Yardbirds appearing with B.B. King and the Sons of Champlin (5/31-6/1).
Art by John Van Hamersveld, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 255.
Medium-thick flat index stock flyer/handbill is in good (B) condition; there is a bit of light toning, along with a thin 6" diagonal bend along the lower left margin, corner-tip/edge creasing along the top/bottom margins, a few stray pin-prick surface spots/tiny handling creases hiding within the image area and a a couple of light tape pulls/small stains on the reverse side, otherwise fine.
Very presentable semi-used (but still nice-looking) example of this increasingly hard-to-find Pinnacle concert artifact from the Spring of 1968.
