Description

Official artist-issued (c. 1986/87) 26&1/8 x 33" extra-large hand-pulled and embossed (Running Mouse Serigraphy") silkscreen featuring Edmund Sullivan's 1900 rendering of "A Skeleton Amid Roses" from "The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam", later made famous as a concert poster design for the Grateful Dead and Oxford Circle at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 9/16-17/1966 (*Family Dog # 26).

Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Stanley Mouse, extra-thick oak-tag rag stock silkscreen is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a long thin vertical crease and few semi-soft bends along the left margin area, along with a couple of soft corner-tip creases, a couple of tiny edge dings scattered around the outer margin area (from a frame) and a small stain on the reverse top margin, otherwise fine.

REALLY impressive-looking extra-large ARTIST-SIGNED Grateful Dead-inspired silkscreen, hand-printed and embossed by Mouse himself... absolutely KILLER G.D. display piece.
