Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 13&7/8" concert flyer for the Clash appearing (with numerous unadvertised opening acts, including Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, Grandmaster Flash & Melle Mel and others) at Bond International Casino in New York City's Times Square from 6/4-11/1981 (*shows added to original scheduled run of 5/28-6/5).
Design by Deadline Design, Inc., thin flat stock flyer is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from just the slightest hint of edge rippling along the top/bottom margins, it is an absolutely FANTASTIC example of this uncommon Clash artifact from this LEGENDARY set of New York City shows. (*read the Wikipedia entry for all the details, too many to post here)
This flyer was distributed after the band added several shows to accommodate ticketholders who were turned away from the initial run, as they were apparently MASSIVELY oversold. The engagement was extended to a total of SEVENTEEN (17) days (matinee and evening shows), so everyone who bought a ticket was able to attend- not to mention LOTS of other fans who wanted to attend.
