Official (promoter-sanctioned, issued by Psychedelic Solution in 1987) 3rd printing 20&1/8 x 26" uncut printer's test (red/magenta only- no black pass of ink) proof sheet (poster + (2) cards) for Andy Warhol's Exploding Plastic Inevitable, featuring the Velvet Underground (with Nico) appearing with the Mothers of Invention (with Frank Zappa) at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA from 5/27-29/1966.
Art by (and SIGNED in black sharpie by) Wes Wilson, image is # 8 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
Medium flat vellum stock proof sheet is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a 1&1/2" crease/bend in the lower left margin/corner, along with a few stray edge dings, a thin horizontal/diagonal roll bend going across the upper right margin/edge and a couple of stray soft handling dings, otherwise fine.
Nice-looking oddball partial-color BG 8 sheet with a nice large Wes Wilson signature.
