Original 1st printing 14 x 20" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service with Big Brother & the Holding Company (with Janis Joplin) and the Jaywalkers on 7/1/1966, the Great! Society (with Grace Slick), Sopwith Camel and the Charlatans on 7/2/1966 and the Grateful Dead with Love (featuring Arthur Lee) and Group B on 7/3/1966, all shows held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA.
Art by Wes Wilson, image is # 14 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; there is a tiny soft spot in the upper right margin, along with a couple of VERY soft corner bends in the lower left/right corners and a stray pinch ding or two scattered around the outer margin area, otherwise it is a mostly-clean example. VERY sharp indeed!
As this one of only a few early Fillmore images that was not reprinted until recently (Wolfgang's reprinted it in 2021), this is piece is key to completing a full BG set.
