Original 1st printing 9 x 11" double-sided concert flyer for the Velvet Underground (with Lou Reed) appearing with Ramon Ramon & the Four Daddy-o's and the Water Brothers at the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, TX from 10/23-25/1969. 

 Art by (and SIGNED and dated ('77) in pencil by) JFKLN (Jim Franklin), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 294 (plate 3.126) and is an un-numbered part of the VG/Vulcan Gas Company series. 

 Thin flat stock flyer is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are tiny pin holes in all four corner tips, along with a nearly-invisible 3" diagonal bend in the upper left corner, a couple of tiny corner creases, a thin bend in the lower left margin, a tiny nip out of the upper right margin and a couple of VERY light surface smudges in the lower right portion of the design, otherwise fine.

 One of JFKLN's more amusing images, the reverse of this one features an ad for Austin's legendary psychedelic emporium, the one and only Oat Willie's.
