Description

 Original 1st printing (1997) 27 x 27&7/8" artist-issued limited-edition serigraph (silkscreen) print (signed and numbered 134/250 in pencil) featuring Robert Crumb's iconic album cover design for the 1968 Columbia Records debut album by Big Brother & the Holding Company, "Cheap Thrills";

 Art by the aforementioned Robert Crumb, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 240 (plate 2.367).

 Extra-thick oak-tag stock serigraph (printed at Wildwood Serigraph- embossed in the lower right, just beneath Crumb's signature) is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are hand-torn edges (as issued), along with a soft 8" diagonal bend in the lower left corner/margin, a VERY soft roll bend along the lower right edge/margin, a stray pinch-ding/pin-prick smudge or two lurking around the outer margin area and a couple of tiny edge creases in the lower left margin, otherwise it is a STUNNING example of this VERY hard-to-find R. Crumb serigraph featuring one of his most well-known designs.

 Definitely a very cool piece of wall candy!!
