Original 1st printing 20 x 14&3/8" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (with Janis Joplin) appearing with Charles Lloyd and the Sir Douglas Quintet at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 3/17-18/1967. 

 Art by Rick Griffin (and Michaelangelo), image ("Contact") is # 52 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. 

 Medium-thinck flat index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are tack holes in all four corners with a tiny bend/pressure crease in the upper left corner tip, a thin vertical crease running along the edge of the lower right margin, a few fairly light handling dings/edge creases here and there and a tiny pin-prick spot in the lower left margin/corner, otherwise fine.

 The first printing editions of this poster have been getting harder to find over the last few years, this is the first one I've had in a WHILE.
