Original 1st printing 17&3/8 x 25" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Moby Grape, Love (with Arthur Lee) and Blue Crumb Truck Factory appearing at Winterland in San Francisco, CA on 3/3/1967* (after a few false starts, this was actually the very first GD appearance at Winterland).
Art by (Donna) Herrick, image ("The First Annual Love Circus") is featured in the Art of Rock on page 188 (plate 2.194).
Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are several thin diagonal bends and a couple of light creases scattered along the top margin and in the upper left/right corners, along with a few light handling dings and tiny pin-prick surface spots hiding within the image area, a trace amount of toning and a tiny edge pull on the reverse side, otherwise it is a REALLY nice-looking example of this VERY popular early-'67 Grateful Dead image from the band's very first Winterland show.
Check out this very informative recent interview with the artist, Donna (Herrick) Wallace-Cohen;
