Description
Original 1st printing (OP-1, thick stock) 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with John Lee Hooker and the (Steve) Miller Blues Band at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 3/22-23/1967.
Art by Victor Moscoso, image ("Plains of Quicksilver") is # 53 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
Medium-thick flat index stock poster is in near mint (A-/B+) condition; just a tiny 1/4" diagonal bend in the bottom left corner tip, a few ultra-tiny edge dings scattered around the outer margins and in the corner tips and a couple of VERY well-camouflaged stress bends hiding within the image area, otherwise it is a mostly-clean 1st printing example of this retina-searing Moscoso Avalon poster from early 1967.
