Original 1st printing 14&1/8 x 20&3/8" (full-color) and (1967) 2nd printing 14&1/2 x 20&1/4" (pink/blue) concert posters for Jefferson Airplane headlining the Trips-Lansing-promoted "Trips Festival", along with the Byrds, Don & the Goodtimes and the Emergency Exit, held at Seattle Center Arena on 5/30/1967. (*also (not listed) the Electric Prunes)

 Art by (and SIGNED in silver ink by) Bob Masse, both posters are on thin semi-gloss stock (2nd printing is just a hair thicker) and are in very good (B/B+, 1st) and near mint (A-, 2nd) conditions, respectively; the 1st has pin/tack holes in the upper left/right corners and top center margin, along with a couple of tiny nip tears and a series of light creases scattered around the outer margin area, a 1" diagonal bend in the lower right corner, a few stray handling dings/thin stress creases here and there and a trace of surface wear, while the 2nd printing has a few soft handling dings, a corner-tip bend or two and a pair of stamps on the reverse; "Hydrogen Sales" and "Copyright 1967, Printed in Canada";

 VERY COOL and SUPER SCARCE pair of Jefferson Airplane concert artifacts from one of the ersatz "Trips Festivals" that were in vogue in the summer of 1967, I didn't even realize that there were two separate printings of this one until I was able to see them both side-by-side and measure them out (the 2nd printing image size is between 1/8-1/16th smaller than the first; the film was re-shot (and reduced) for the reprint). Whomever winds up with this lot gets BOTH versions!
