Original 1st printing* 7 x 11" concert flyer/handbill for the Grateful Dead appearing with Charlie Musselwhite and Petris at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 5/30-6/1/1968.

 Art by Alton Kelley, image ("Memorial") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 179 (plate 2.160). *This example (like many other examples that were distributed at the time of the shows) has the days of the week (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) at the top blacked out with magic marker.

 Medium flat index stock flyer is in excellent (B+) condition; just a trace of edge wear, one or two nearly-invisible handling dings hiding within the image area and a soft diagonal bend (about 1&1/2") in the lower right margin, otherwise it is a mostly-clean example of this always-popular Grateful Dead artifact from the Carousel.
