Original 1st printing 17&1/2 x 22&1/2" late 1966/early 1967 political/campaign poster promoting progressive candidate Bill Miller fir Mayor of Berkeley, CA.
Art by Allen "Gut" Terk, medium-thick flat vellum flat index stock poster is in good (B) condition; there are staple holes/minor wear/creasing in all four corner tips, with a small vertical drag tear in the bottom right margin, plus a 1" vertical tear in the top center margin, a 1&1/2" horizontal tear in the upper left margin, a 1/2" tear in the right center margin, a bit of edge creasing along the left/right margins, a few thin vertical stress bends near the bottom center margin, a bit of light handling wear, a trace of toning and a couple of nearly-invisible horizontal roll bends, otherwise OK.
Conditional issues aside, this is a REALLY wild-looking late-'60's local East Bay period piece, complete with a number of interesting proposals ("legalize grass, curb the cops") and a photo of the candidate being hauled in by the B.P.D.
