Description
Original 1st printing 5&1/4 x 7" blank-reverse concert handbill for the Grateful Dead appearing with Chuck Berry and Curly Cooke's Hurdy-Gurdy Band at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 3/29-31/1968.
Art by Steve Catron, image ("Acid/Berry/Pebble Dropper") is featured in the Art of Rock on page 180 (plate 2.163).
Medium flat index stock handbill is in near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; aside from a couple of TINY corner-tip bumps, it is a VERY sharp/clean example of this oft-requested/high-demand Grateful Dead Carousel artifact.
