Original 1st printing 19&5/8 x 7&1/4" hand-pulled silkscreen concert poster for the 1978 San Francisco Blues Festival, held at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell in San Francisco, CA from 8/12-13/1978. 

 This edition of the annual event featured performances by Lowell Fulson, Harmonica George Smith, Rod Piazza, Queen Ida, Sugar Pie DeSanto, Smokey Wilson, Guitar Curtis, Mark Naftalin and MANY more. 

 Design by Andrew Wood, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 342 (plate 4.34). 

 Medium-thin semi-gloss hand-pulled silkscreen poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are a series of thin bends, handling creases and tiny edge dings scattered around the outer margin area, along with a tiny nip tear or two, a few minor handling dings/thin creases and a stray surface scratch or two hiding within the image area and a couple of nearly-invisible vertical roll creases, otherwise fine.

 GREAT-looking late-'70s S.F. Blues Festival poster, this is the first example I have had up for sale.
