Original 1st printing 4&1/8 x 6&1/2" marquee/schedule handbill (with postcard backing) for a series of Fall 1968 shows held the Fillmore East in New York City.
Shows listed include: the Chambers Brothers with Blood, Sweat & Tears and the Amboy Dukes (9/13-14) and Traffic with the Staple Singers and Crome Syrcus (9/20-21), all shows backed by the incredible Joshua Light Show.
Design by Jerry Pompili/Willson-Frissora, image is an un-numbered part of the Bill Graham/Fillmore East series.
Medium-thin flat vellum stock card is in excellent (B+) condition; just a touch of handling and a light amount of toning, otherwise fine- additionally, this example has been addressed and mailed (with canceled 6 cent stamp and 10/16/1968 postmark) to none other than Rhode Island-based poster artist Mad Peck (Rupert wanted to know where his t-shirt was)... fascinating little late-'60's East Coast concert artifact with an amusing connection.
