Original 1st printing 12 x 16&5/8" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (wirth Janis Joplin), Quicksilver Messenger Service*, Blue Cheer, Oxford Circle, Andrew Staples, New Breed (with Tim Schmidt (Poco/Eagles) and Loyal Opposition appearing together at Freeborn Hall on the campus of the University of California in Davis on 3/6/1967. *QMS most likely canceled, thanks Ross H. for the info!

 Artist/photographer unknown/not credited, medium-thick vellum "construction paper" stock hand-pulled silkscreen poster is in decent (B/B-) condition; as this example was removed from a scrapbook, there are large pieces of scrapbook paper adhered to the reverse with glue; additionally, (and as a result of the removal) there are a series of 1-2" tears within the image area (lower right corner, upper right corner/margin), along with a 1" tear in the upper left margin, a single tack hole in the right center margin, a bit of ink smear on the "Quick" of "Quicksilver" and a few other minor surface issues, but it is still intact and the image area still looks OK. A little bit of restoration wouldn't hurt it, but it still looks pretty good on the front side.

 Conditional issues aside, this is one scarce puppy.... likely only a few examples were made up and distibuted almost exclusively within the campus community. INCREDIBLY hard-to-find Big Brother/Quicksilver concert artifact from early 1967.
