Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert/event flyer for the Vancouver Pop Festival, held at Paradise Valley Resort in Squamish, British Columbia (Canada) from 8/22-24/1969.

 Designer unknown, flyer lists appearances by Tarantula, the Flying Burrito Brothers (with Gram Parsons), Little Richard, Love (with Arthur Lee), Merryweather, Motherlode, Taj Mahal, Crome Cyrcus, Lee Michaels, Canned Heat, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Chicago (Transit Authority), the Guess Who, Merilee Rush, the Byrds, the Rascals, the Chambers Brothers, Alice Cooper, Smith, Rotary Connection (with Minnie Ripperton), Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee and the Grateful Dead (a number of acts canceled, including the Dead).

 Designer unknown/not credited, thin flat stock flyer is in near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; just the slightest trace of handling wear and a tiny crease along the lower left margin and that's IT... a VERY sharp example of this oddball PNW festival item from a fairly obscure (and apparently poorly-attended) event; read more about it HERE:
