Original 1st printing 20 x 29" concert poster for an all-star blues show featuring Big Mama Thornton appearing with George "Harmonica" Smith, Hound Dog Taylor and the Houserockers and Big Joe Turner at appearing together at the Academy of Music in New York City on 11/16/1973.

 Designer unknown (whoever did the artwork was obviously heavily influenced by R. Crumb), medium-thin flat index stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a thin horizontal roll crease in the lower left margin, a stray handling ding or two lurking within the image area and a touch of edge toning, it is in GREAT shape.

 REALLY neat-looking early-1970's blues poster from the legendary NYC concert venue.
