Original 1st printing 3&3/4 x 4&1/4" concert ticket for the October 1968 schedule of shows held at the Matrix in San Francisco, CA. Shows listed include: Elvin Bishop from 10/8-12, Jerry Garcia (GARRCEEAH) and Friends (A/K/A "Mickey & the Hartbeats") from 10/8-10, "Marvel" (Marble) Farm from 10/11-12, Harvey Mandel and Mad River from 10/15-17, Allmen Joy from 10/18-19, Mint Tattoo from 10/22-24, Steve Miller from 10/22-16 and Linn County from 10/25-27. (*ticket is stamped on the reverse for the 10/18 Allmen Joy show)

 Art by George Chacona and Marty Rice, image (full-color poster) is featured in the Art of Rock on page 166 (plate 2.118), this is a one-color monochrome ticket.

 Medium textured vellum stock ticket is in very good (B/B+) condition; as the ticket was used/collected at the show, there is a small punch hole in the upper right margin (the venue apparently did this at the door), along with the aforementioned stamp on the reverse (along with a bit of pen scratch and a couple of tiny tape pulls), a small bend in the top left corner and a couple of handling dings, otherwise OK.
