Original 1st printing 13&3/8 x 8&1/2" concert flyer/large handbill for the first three weekends of shows held at the Boston Tea Party (53 Berkeley St location) in Boston, MA from 1/20-2/4/1967.
All three weekends (1/20-21, 1/27-28 and 2/3-4) were headlined by the Lost, plus the Hallucinations (not listed, from 1/27-28) and Catharsis (from 2/3-4,- also mentions the Chambers Brothers coming "next week").
This is the SECOND-STATE version of the "Grand Opening" image, with the additional green teacup overprint (added after the third weekend was booked), making this the 2nd image in the Boston Tea Party series.
Art by David Hahn, thin flat stock flyer is in good (B) condition; there is a 1&1/8" tear in the top margin, along with a series of light bends/handling creases hiding within the image area and scattered around the outer margins, a small stain in the upper left margin, a touch of toning and a series of tiny white pin-prick paint splatter spots on the left side of the teapot, otherwise OK... a very presentable example.
MEGA-EARLY Boston Tea Party concert artifact from the late winter of 1967, this example comes from a member of a well-connected band that performed regularly at the venue.
