Original 1st printing 14 x 9" uncut pair of concert handbills for Mother Earth (featuring Tracy Nelson) appearing with Shiva's Head Band at the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, TX from 8/15-16/1969.
Art by the one and only JFKLN (Jim Franklin), image ("Moon Pyramids") is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 293 (plate 3.120) and is an un-numbered part of the VG/Vulcan Gas Company series (VGC 1969-08-12/13+15/16).
Thin flat stock handbill sheet is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a small print flaw just above the moon on the left-side handbill (a drop of water fell onto the press and created a pair of "clouds" in the sky), a few tiny edge nips and a touch of toning around the outer margin area, a rounded bottom right corner tip, a pin-prick spot in the right center margin and a VERY small pressure crease in the upper left corner, otherwise fine.
Nice-looking pair of uncut VGC handbills, right from the printer's stash!
