Original 1st printing 14&1/8 x 20" concert poster for Derek & the Domino(e)s (with Eric Clapton, Jim Gordon, Carl Radle and Bobby Whitlock with Duane Allman) appearing with Toe Fat at Onondaga County War Memorial in Syracuse, NY on 10/18/1970*. (*show was rescheduled for 12/2/1970, with Elton John added to the bill- see review/photo of poster w/additional sticker with new date + Elton)
Design by J. Vecchio, medium-thick index card stock (almost thin cardboard, but not quite) poster is in good/decent (B/B-) condition; as this example was removed from public display at the time of the show, there are tack holes (top corners/bottom center margin), along with a series of thin bends/creases, a moderate amount of edge wear with a slight bit of paint drip along the lower left margin (and on the reverse), a number of tiny surface dings/scuffs/small stains here and there, a tiny wedge pull on "Sale", a few tiny edge tears, corner creasing, etc... the photo should tell the story on this one.
Conditional issues aside, this poster represents one of only TWO Derek & the Dominos live shows that included Duane Allman in the lineup (the other was in Tampa, FL), not to mention the addition of an unbilled Elton John... INCREDIBLY SCARCE Clapton/Allman piece, only example I have EVER seen.
