Original 1st printing 4&3/8 x 7&1/8" postcard-backed (red Grande Ballroom "Place Stamp Here" imprint) concert handbill for the Jimi Hendrix Experience appearing with the Soft Machine, MC5 and the Rationals at the Masonic Temple in Detroit, MI on 2/23/1968.

 Art by Gary Grimshaw, image is # 68 in the Russ Gibb Presents/Grande series (OPC-C in the Eric King guide) and is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 299 (plate 3.139). 

 Medium-thin flat vellum stock postcard is in mint/near mint to near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; an absolutely STUNNING example of this iconic early-'68 Hendrix concert artifact from Michigan.
