Description

Original 1st printing 9 x 12" 20-page (including cover) concert program for "Murray the K's Music in the Fifth Dimension", a multi-act/package show which ran from 3/25-4/2/1967 at the RKO 58th Street Theater in NYC.

The shows ran several times a day and featured assorted combinations of the following acts: Mitch Ryder, Wilson Pickett, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, Blues Project, the Hardly Worthit Players, Jim and Jean, the Chicago Loop, Mandala, the Young Rascals, Simon & Garfunkel, Phil Ochs, Blues Magoos and (for the first time in the USA), Cream and the Who.

Semi-glossy-coated index stock cover/thin flat index stock interior program is in good (B) condition; the front/back covers both have handling wear, a few thin bends and slight surface wear, along with a minor amount of spine wear, a few stray handling marks and a hint of toning and tiny ballpoint-pen scribbled comments next to photos of the attendee's favorite performances on a couple the interior pages, otherwise fine. Program is completely intact (no missing pages).

Very cool artifact from the VERY FIRST American performances by BOTH the Who and Cream.
