Original 1st printing 12&5/8 x 20" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin), the Loving Impuse, the S.F. Earthquake Dancers and the Congress of Wonders at Winterland in San Francisco, CA from 12/16-17/1966.
 
 Design by Gut (Allen Turk), image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 194 (plate 2.207).
 
 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there is a small diagognal crease in the upper left corner, along with a series of tiny pin-prick sge spots scattered along the bottom/right margins, a few stray handling dings here and there, a bit of light pencil scratch and a set of tape pulls on the reverse (the pull in the lower left corner almost breaches the paper), othertwise fine.
 
 A very nice-looking example of this festive holiday-themed Winterland concert poster from late-'66.
