Original 1st printing 14&1/8 x 17&3/4" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with Lee Michaels and the Oxford Circle at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 12/9-10/1966.
 
 Art by Victor Moscoso, image ("Swirly Eyes") is # 38 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
 
 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster has been professionally restored to excellent (B+) condition; the poster was cleaned (light stain/spot removal, save for a tiny bit of spotting in the center of the ticket outlet) and pressed, and there remain a set of tape pulls/stains (as well as a "Lido Studio" stamp) on the reverse side (*the tape shadows barely peek through the paper in the corners) and a touch of moisture wave to the paper, but overall it looks REALLY nice (*I can provide a "before restoration" photo upon request).
 
 A very nice-looking fixed-up 1st printing example of this perennially popular Family Dog image.
