Original 1st printing 18&1/4 x 18&1/4" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with Love (featuring Arthur Lee) and C.I.A. (Citizens for Interplanetary Activity) at the Rock Garden in San Francisco, CA from 3/21-26/1967.

 Art by Michael Wood/Pyxis Studios, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 196 (plate 2.214).

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; aside from a couple of VERY light (nearly-invisible) roll creases, a tiny surface smudge in the 2:00 area and a few stray handling dings/tiny edge dings, it is a SUPERB example of this early-'67 concert poster from the short-lived Mission District nightclub.
